As well as points for finishing positions (90 for first down to 24 for sixteenth), drivers are awarded 1.5 points for each car they pass in the heats and feature race i.e. a driver starting from grid 5 and finishing the race in 1st place is awarded 96 points in total, 90 points for the win and 6 points for passing four cars.

DNF cars are awarded points as they drop out i.e. in a sixteen car field the first car to drop out gets 24 points for 16th place, the next car to drop out gets 27 points for 15th place etc
DNS cars failing to cross the start line in their starting grid positions at the start of a race are deemed non starters and don't receive points
